Links Logistics- DBA George's Shop and Rock- is today's fastest growing Third Party Logistics Company, and we're now hiring a skilled Maintenance Tech right here in our Vale, Oregon shop. Work is primarily days, but issues will happen outside normal hours. Trucks run 24/7, and we rely heavily on our maintenance crew to keep them rolling. Teamwork, technical troubleshooting skills, and the willingness to do whatever it takes will make you the right candidate for this high profile job.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preventative maintenance/DVIRs
Component repair and all aspects of preventative maintenance
Electrical system repairs
Cooling system maintenance
DPF Fueling maintenance
Pneumatic, hydraulic, and diesel repair
Manage Heavy Vehicle component lubrication, tires, brakes, hoses
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of DOT Out Of Service Criteria is a MUST
2-4 years practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance required
Vocational/Technical or certification
Must own tools
Valid CDL
Willingness to travel as necessary within the district (customers yards, close geographical area and training sites)
Lift and /or move up to 25lbs, frequently. Lift and/or move up to 50lbs occasionally, and lift and/or move up to 100lbs (with help).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
